When you are banned from the hotel you will be given a reason informing you why. Habbo uses standardised bans to be fair to all players. Here are the different ban categories depending on the offence, with examples to illustrate each category.

Vulgarity includes:

1. - swearing
   
2. - avoiding the filter
   
3. - unacceptable rooms or behavior in rooms
   
4. - unacceptable Habbo names
5. unacceptable discussions
   
6. - unacceptable ascii art, etc
   

Sexually Explicit includes:

1. - Cybersex
   
2. - advertising prostitution
   
3. - soliciting or participating in cybersex or lapdances
   
4. - furni for cybersex
   
5. - discussion about sexual acts
   
6. - giving out porn urls, etc.
   

Harassment includes:

1. - bullying
   
2. - sexual harassment
   
3. - multiple rooms created to harass another member
   
4. - cloning a member name to harass
   
5. - yelling out loud about another player in a room
   
6. - spreading rumours about a player
   
7. - creating any Habbo name to harass another player, and the like.

Disruption includes:

1. - flooding
   
2. - attempting to disconnect another player
   
3. - blocking doors or teleporters
   
4. - repeated attempts to trade against another player's will
   
5. - guest room game disruption,
   
6. - abusing the Call for Help tool, etc.
   

Hate Speech includes:

1. - racial slurs,
   
2. - gender slander, etc.
   

T&C violation includes:

1. - promoting the use of illegal drugs
   
2. - password phishing
   
3. - keylogging
   
4. - using third party software to disrupt the programming of the hotel
   
5. - discussion about illegal activities
   
6. - violent role playing
   
7. - role playing cyber-rape
   
8. - making death threats
   
9. - making bomb threats
   
10. - disclosing or sharing or posting confidential Sulake information on the web or via email or any electronic or printed form, as per your Terms and Conditions agreement
    
underage Habbo players, etc.

Personal Identifying Information includes asking for, receiving, or giving out ANY personally identifying information of a player, including themselves, or any staff member or family member of theirs or another player or personal information about any Sulake staff member.

Examples include:

1. - web cam offers or requests
   
2. - selling, trading or lending Habbo accounts
   
3. - school names
   
4. - streets, locations, meeting places,
   
5. - phone numbers, mobile numbers,
   
6. photos, etc.

Scamming includes:

1. - offering free credits in exchange for: furni or Habbo accounts, or information, or Instant Messenger details, or email addresses and the like.
   
2. - promoting scamsites via URLs or links.
   
3. - stealing furni by tricking Players into playing games and then kicking them
   

Fraud includes:

1. - Credit Card fraud,
   
2. - SMS text fraud,
   
3. - landline phone fraud,
   
4. - any credit fraud
   

If you wish to argue your ban you can do so through the Habbo Help Tool and NOT through the Call for Help.

REMEMBER if somebody else was using your Habbo account when the ban was placed - it's still YOUR responsibility.
